Role Overview: We're looking for a Field Engineer - Survey to join our team. This position is responsible for implementing the project survey plan specific to field operations and ensuring construction projects comply with legal regulations and building codes.

HWH has an effective method for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position.

PRIMARY WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday

*Depending on demand, in some instances, extended work hours may be needed

What You'll Do:

  • Perform line and grade work for building layout and control as required.
  • Support site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with EBCO safety standards and applicable safety codes and regulations.
  • Read and interpret geotechnical reports.
  • Uses plans to calculate horizontal and vertical controls for each phase of construction.
  • Review work as it is being placed to be sure it is accurate and within accepted tolerances.
  • Review contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure proper coordination and installation.
  • Calculate volumes to determine accurate dirt-work requirements.
