JOBSITE LOCATION: Paris, Texas

STARTING PAYRATE: $65,000 - $80,000 per year (negotiable depending on experience)

HWH has an effective method for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position.

PRIMARY WORK SCHEDULE: Monday thru Friday (5) 10s

*In some instances, Saturday shifts will be needed per job requirements at that time.

JOB SUMMARY: The Estimator is responsible for assisting the estimating department, including, but not limited to pre-bid meeting attendance, preconstruction services, plan and specification procurement and reviews, posting project for bidding, quantity take offs, summary top sheets, assist with directions and coordinating activities of the designated estimate to ensure that goals or objectives of the estimate and the company are accomplished timely, efficiently and within company guidelines.

Additional responsibilities to be included, but not limited to the managing plan & spec printing and scanning for all companies. Scheduling maintenance for printing/equipment to include wide format printers, fax machines and copies/scanners. Manage archiving for all HWH projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists and executes estimating work plan to include: estimate preparation & set up, coordination of bidding activities, posting of plans and specifications to Building Connected and Sharepoint.
  • Assists Estimators in Coordination & Solicitation of quotes from vendors and subcontractors. Place advertisements for bid.
  • Reviews and understands plans, specifications with the ability to establish complete and proper scopes, recognize conflicts or problems to provide complete and accurate estimate.
  • Performs quantity take offs and provides accurate scopes, counts and quantities.
